Expensive Cigarette, Why Not?

It's bee a while since I never write something on my blog. I have been busy with my business recently besides playing game.. hahaha. Moreover, I had no idea what am I going to post. Then, I remember one topic which's really interesting to discuss that is about the rise of cigarette price. This writing is only my opinion.             Well, the numbers of smoke-caused diseases have been increasing in Indonesia recently. Consequently, the government should raise the cigarette prices to lower the number of smokers and decrease the air pollution to improve public health.

            When the government raise the cigarette prices become triple prices, meaning people will reconsider to buy packs of cigarette and vanish their willingness to smoke. Because not all smokers are able to buy packs of expensive cigarette, so rather than buying cigarette, they prefer buying something else which is more useful for them such as food, clothes, and so on. In result, smokers will try to change their habit to smoke, and then they will not smoke anymore.

            Most of dangerous air pollution come from burned cigarette which interrupting those who are not smokers. The smoke of cigarette contains tar, nicotine, carbon monoxide, pyridine, benzopyrene, and carcinogen that are really harmful for human health because those substance can cause some diseases such as cancer, asthma, impotence and so on. Therefore, when government raise the cigarette prices, it will make the less people buy it. When the less people buy cigarette, the less air pollution produced. When the less air pollution from cigarette, the more people breathe healthily.

            On the other hand, expensive cigarette will burden tobacco’s farmer because they cannot earn money from tobacco as usual. However, even though they lose their job they are still able to find another jobs. It will be different with the cigarette victims. If they get sick they cannot find another health and they must struggle to fight their illness.  

            The raising of cigarette prices is really important to lower number of smokers and create health environment. People must try to live in healthy way to minimize some possibilities of attacking diseases.
